Inergy’s Flex Portable Power Stations Showcased to Cleantech Industry Stakeholders and Potential Investors

Pocatello, Idaho, April 12, 2022 – Inergy(www.inergytek.com), provider of the world’s most adaptable and easy-to-use renewable energy storage solutions, has been selected to present its Inergy Flex Portable Power Stations to investors and industry representatives at the NREL 2022 Industry Growth Forum (IGF) April 13-14 in Denver, Colorado. The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) hosts the IGF, which is now in its 27th year. It is one of the nation’s premier events for cleantech entrepreneurs and other industry experts. Inergy earned the presentation spot from a field of more than 150 entrepreneurs following an extensive selection process. Inergy will present as part of the Emerging Markets category.

Inergy manufactures innovative technologies to produce and distribute easy-to-use plug-and-play portable solar power and home energy solutions to individual consumers, businesses, and emerging markets. Inergy was one of five top winners at the 2019 IGF when they were given an Outstanding Venture award for its plug-and-play energy storage solutions.

“We are honored that NREL, the premiere renewable energy lab, is validating Inergy’s potential to help promote prosperity while protecting the planet as we look to give the world affordable renewable energy,” said Sean Luangrath, CEO of Inergy. “We look forward to securing funding that will help us continue to advance the energy technology of our Inergy Flex portable power kits and increase access to energy in emerging markets.”

The forum is a one-of-a-kind opportunity in the cleantech space—the premier event for cleantech entrepreneurs, investors, and experts from industry and the public sector to build relationships, showcase innovative technologies, and identify business solutions. NREL facilitates connections between cutting-edge startups, including Inergy, and motivated investors to drive innovation to market. NREL is the only U.S. federal lab dedicated to renewable energy and energy efficiency research.

“We’re delighted with this year’s slate of presenters,” IGF Program Manager Sheila Ebbitt said. “They represent cleantech startups with high potential, and we can’t wait for them to pitch to the investors and other market experts.”

More than 100 investors could hold up to 1,300 meetings during the two-day event. Inergy kicked off its Series A round of funding earlier this week at the StartUp Grind Global Conference in Silicon Valley. Inergy has had tremendous support from investors since its first days of successful crowdfunding. Inergy has received grants from the state of Idaho, the U.S. Armed Forces, and the U.S. Department of Energy. Previous investors include SLC Angels and independent investors.
